What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are flexible, short skills training courses (up to 16 weeks) designed to give adults the practical knowledge, technical skills, and confidence employers need. They focus on hands-on learning, real-world projects and employer-led content to help you move into work, progress in your career, or retrain for a new role.

This programme is funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education as part of the Skills for Life campaign.

Qualification: Aligned with CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice
Guaranteed Interview: Upon successful completion

This 16-week, practical programme is designed to help you develop strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills — essential for careers in recruitment, customer service, administration, and team management.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible for a funded place you must meet all of the following:

  • Be aged 19 or older at the start of the course.

  • Be living in London (Greater London boroughs).

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.

  • Be employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work (we welcome learners in all employment statuses

By the end of the programme, you’ll gain the practical experience, confidence, and recognised skills to progress in people-focused careers — with a guaranteed interview opportunity to help you take the next step.
