Modules
The Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner course takes place across 5 days. Day 1 of the course focuses primarily on introducing students to project management by providing general knowledge and details of the different concepts and aspects. Day 2 will ultimately focus on the three sevens in detail; Principles, Themes & Processes. Ultimately, this course will focus on 5 case studies. Throughout day 3 students will apply the prince2 case studies in regards to business. This will provide an understanding of the roles and responsibilities. Students will apply these to organization themes, quality themes & plan themes. During day 4 students will establish risk & change themes. This will be done by studying requirements for applying the change theme & requirements for controlling progress. Finally, during day 5, students will carry out the controlling stage process activities, the managing stage boundary process activities & the closing project process activities. Students will gain an understanding of how themes can be applied and will go through exam practice papers and questions.

Entry Requirements
Delegates should have some knowledge of project management, however there are no specific requirements for the Foundation certification. If you need to take a general project management course, our APM Introductory Certificate course can be for you.
PRINCE2 Practitioner: Yes, in order to sit for the PRINCE2 Practitioner test, you must produce proof of passing one of the following:
Foundation for PRINCE2 (5th Edition or 6th Edition version)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Project Management Professional (PMP)®
Level A of the IPMA (Certified Projects Director)
Level B® IPMA (Certified Senior Project Manager)
Level C® IPMA (Certified Project Manager)
Level D® IPMA (Certified Project Management Associate)
Individual IPMA chapters, for example, have their own interpretations of these certifications, as follows:

The PRINCE 2 Foundation & practitioner course will introduce project management to students. This course will focus on different aspects of project management, providing the knowledge, tools and techniques used to understand each concept and methodology.
Seven aspects of project management will be underlined throughout the course, where students will be taught to implement elements throughout practice questions. The relationship between PRINCE 2 and the seven aspects of project management will highlight the business justifications and key business approaches.
PRINCE 2 principles, themes & Processes will provide an explanation of the seven principles. Students will be taught the different roles and responsibilities of being a project manager by learning different business cases, organisations, quality, plans, risk, changes, and progress.
This course will provide detail on applying changes to themes and demonstrating a well-developed understanding of all themes.
Throughout this course, students will be given the knowledge of applying these processes and demonstrating a professional understanding of the different activities. PRINCE 2 practitioner will allow students to carry out the different activities (controlling stage, product delivery, stage boundary, project process activities)
These themes will be underlined and explained in terms of how they could be used and applied to closing the project. These principles will be used to tailor the PRINCE2 to the project environment.
Students will be provided with practice questions and exams to develop and understand where they stand in terms of taking the final PRINCE2 exam.
In hand with this, 5 case studies will be used to provide real-life case scenarios to contribute towards exam practice and questions. This will enable the instructor to know at what level students stand in terms of exam preparation.
